Join us to experience an evening in the life of a field biology technician, and learn about how an interest in nature can turn into the foundation of a career! Erica Alex will share photos, stories, and lessons learned from the wilds of Saskatchewan, including remote boreal forests and expansive grasslands.
Erica is working towards completing her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Biology at the University of Saskatchewan, and has completed two seasons as a field technician for Birds Canada. She grew up in Westman, and serves on the Westman Naturalist’s communications and speakers committees.
This is a hybrid event! Feel free to come in person to meet Erika and see the talk, or join us via Zoom.
In person: Brodie Building Rm 3-47, Brandon University
