Brandon and Area Car Enthusiasts (BACE) is pleased to host our 3rd Collector Car Appreciation Day on Sunday, July 7th. The event runs from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Princess Ave, between 10th and 13th St.
This event is a collaboration between the Brandon Downtown BIZ and BACE.
The Elspeth Reid Family Resource Centre will be selling their extremely tasty hamburgers and smokies.
Double Clutchin’ Dave will be providing MC & DJ services for the day.
The Road Rebel Car club will host an in town poker run with fun games at each stop, registration begins at 10:00 A.M. for a 10:30 start, Participants will be back in time for the start of the car show and the BBQ.
This gathering of vintage, classic, and special interest vehicles of all years will join together to celebrate the history, culture and heritage of the Automobile.
This event is used to raise awareness and recognize the integral role collector cars have played in fostering our nation’s appreciation for the automobile’s unique historical place in our history
The collector car community contributes to the economic and social wellbeing of a community and by hosting car shows, cruise nights and afternoon drives they help raise funds for charitable organizations.
Restoration and preservation of automobiles is an activity shared by individuals of all ages with the knowledge, interest and passion being passed on from one generation to another. Many people restore and maintain classic automobiles as a pastime and as a means of individual expression and art.
