Join us for a little Valentine’s day special as we talk about the birds and the bees where Denice will introduce us to the funky world of insect reproduction!
Denice Geverink is a graduate from the University of Manitoba with a degree in Environmental Science and Entomology. While studying she worked for the U of M Department of Entomology, and spent much of her time making sure her lab bugs were happy, healthy and multiplying. Denice holds a love for nature, but her true interest lies in the world of insects. She hopes people will look beyond the creepy crawly side of bugs, and come to appreciate the diverse and intricate lives of the most abundant group of animals on the planet.
Participation: This is a hybrid event! Feel free to come in person to meet Denise and see the talk, or join us via Zoom. To join us via Zoom, please complete and submit this short form to sign-up. We will email out the Zoom link the evening of the talk.
