Westman Gardeners Club will hold their monthly meeting on June 5 at 7 pm in the Central Community Centre, 529 Fourth Street, Brandon. The topic is ‘Building Heathy Soil.’ Speaker is Lydia Carpenter. She studied Environmental Science and Geography at the University of Winnipeg. Lydia has developed her knowledge of soils on her family farm operation. The result is sustainable farming.
