Come learn the basics of birding in a fun and relaxed environment with the Westman Naturalists. This outing is geared towards those brand new to birding, or for novices wanting to to identify more birds. We will walk the grounds of the Riverbank Discovery Centre and cover how to identify birds, keeping list records, available resources for improving your birding experience, and any other questions the group might have. With Fall migration just beginning, this is a great time to start your birding journey, or improve on your birding skills.
We hope to have some spare binoculars, but we strongly recommend that you bring a pair of binoculars with you for this outing, if you have them, Bug protection will also be useful.
